On September 4th, Beyonce fans around the world were shouting out to the music goddess on social media in honor of Queen Bey’s 33rd birthday. Actress Blake Lively gave her birthday wishes to the singer in a very unique way. No, the former Gossip Girl isn't just a fan of the performer; it turns out the two are actually good friends!
Lively went all out for her pal, creating a lavish bee-hive inspired cake fit for a queen-it even sparkled! According to Glamour magazine, Lively dubbed the cake a “Bey Hive” as a shout-out to her pal. Lively tweeted a picture of her creation at Queen Bey on her special day saying, “Enjoy a Meyer Lemon Honey Cake made by one of your worker Bs.”

As TheCelebrityCafe.com previously reported, Lively had a not so friendly run in with some actual bees on her birthday, which was just last week. It seems she put aside her differences with the little creatures in order to celebrate her gal-pal’s birthday, perhaps since Beyonce, too, took to her website to give Lively a birthday surprise. People magazine reported that the singer created a black and white card for the actress the previous week with her happy wishes and signed it, “With Love, B”.
Lively shared her baking masterpiece on her site, Preserve, including a video of the shimmering wonder, topped with little cake bees and honey-galore.
