It’s rumored that George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin will tie the knot this weekend in Italy. The bride-to-be landed in Milan on Thursday ahead of one of the most highly-anticipated weddings of the year.
Alamuddin flew from London to Milan airport, for the wedding in Venice this weekend. Clooney previously revealed the wedding would be taking place in the romantic city after rumors it would take place at his home in Lake Como. Walter Veltroni, the former mayor of Rome, will marry the couple.
According to People, Alamuddin, 36, carried lots of luggage with her at the airport as well as a large garment bag.
The human rights lawyer’s father, Ramzi, reportedly "couldn't seem more delighted" about the wedding and thinks his future son-in-law is “very sympathetic, intelligent, cool, easygoing and crazy in love with Amal!"
The couple obtained their license in August, and it was posted outside of Chelsea Old Town Hall in London. They got engaged in April.
