Following her announcement over the summer she will be coming out with a lingerie line, Britney Spears officially launched it during New York Fashion Week.
Wearing a plunging red jumpsuit, the “Work Bitch” singer debuted The Intimate Britney Spears collection with a bevy of models wearing her lacy designs.
“I want to thank the beautiful models today and all of you for coming,” she said at the collection’s unveiling at the New York Public Library’s Celeste Bartos Forum.
She added, “This is something I’ve been working on for two-and-a-half years. I’m really, really passionate about this and I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I have,” New York Post reports.
After her quick statement and posing for pictures, she was off.
Spears spoke with Cosmopolitan at the event and revealed she doesn’t always feel sexy being a mother of two, but thinks lingerie is “important” for women.
"I'm a mom, so I'm really busy cleaning up poop and all those kinds of things — from dogs and kids,” she said. "So I think it's important for us women to make that special time for ourselves, to feel sexy and make an effort to light the candles and put on something really beautiful for ourselves."
