Carrie Underwood announced on social media Monday that she and husband Mike Fisher are expecting their first child together.
The 31-year-old country singer took to Instagram and posted a picture featuring her two dogs, Ace and Penny, wearing little shirts revealing Underwood's pregnancy news. She slyly captioned the photo, "In honor of 'Labor' Day, Ace & Penny would like to make an announcement. Their parents couldn't be happier."
The shirts her two pets wore featured the caption, depending on the dog, "I'm getting to be a big brother/sister."
Underwood's 34-year-old husband made his announcement through Twitter and mentioned they were still discussing baby names. "We haven't picked names yet but it's looking like Fly is gonna fly. #boyorgirl #flyfisher," he tweeted.
According to People, the former American Idol winner and Fisher, who is a Nashville Predators hockey player, have been married for four years, and they recently enjoyed their fourth anniversary in July.
