Across the country, everyone is taking time to remember the events of September 11. Memorials at the Flight 93 crash site, Ground Zero, and Pentagon took moments to remember the lives lost thirteen years ago. It is a day that will never be forgotten and people all over are taking time to remember and mourn the losses.
In addition to memorials across the world, hundreds have taken to Twitter and other forms of social media in order to remember the anniversary and the people who died that terrible day.
No matter how much time goes on, we remember where we were, whether we were just waking up and turning on the news, or were there, watching the events. We’ll always remember that day, like many before us remember where they were when John F. Kennedy was shot.
Celebrities such as Taylor Swift, Eva Longoria, and Lady Gaga took time to tweet their condolences and remembrance as we reflect on what happened.
