Charlie Sheen is inserting himself into the claims that Philadelphia Eagles star LeSean McCoy only tipped a server 60 cents at PYT restaurant in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He’s offering the server, named Rob, $1,000.
It all started when the owner of the restaurant, Tommy Up, posted the $61.56 receipt on social media.
According to TMZ, Rob claims not only did he get stiffed on a tip, but he was mistreated by both McCoy and his friend.
The Anger Management actor has since taken to Twitter to reach out to Up and the waiter publicly.
“dear Tommy Up at PYT in Philly, he wrote, “Please tell Rob K I'm pledging 1000 dollars to him for the tip debacle just wanna help. c #NoJudgement.”
On the restaurant’s Facebook page, the Up posted a long response to the criticism he got for posting the receipt.
“He and his group, from the moment they sat down, were verbally abusive to our staff in the most insulting ways,” he wrote. “The derogatory statements about women and their sheer contempt for the staff serving them wasn't the end, however.”
He then revealed McCoy left a .03% tip and asked him to apologize to the waiter who served him, who gave him “impeccable service.”
