Chris Brown has pleaded guilty to hitting a man outside of his Washington D.C. hotel back in October and sentenced to time he already served.
At the time of the arrest, Brown was still on probation for his beating of ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. The trail was delayed back in April in DC but he already faced repercussions for violating his probation in the state of California.
The judge sentenced Brown to time served in the case, which was a total of 108 days he spent for his 1-year sentence in California, which prosecutors were satisfied with. He was sentenced in May to a year in jail, but he was given credit for the 116 days spent in rehab, plus 59 days in prison.
"To say that he's been punished severely in this matter is an understatement," Brown’s lawyer, Danny Onorato said, The AP reports. Brown also addressed the court before leaving, saying “I would like to say to the court that I'm sorry."
He is currently on probation until Jan. 23, 2015 in addition to seeing a psychiatrist twice a week and completing community service hours.
