Elisabeth Moss is staying in the ‘60s, but changing the venue. The Mad Men star is going to Broadway with The Heidi Chronicles.

Moss will star as the title character, Heidi Holloman, who comes of age during a tumultuous time in the world, producers announced Thursday. The play was written by the late Wendy Wasserstein and won the Tony Award for Best Play in 1989, with Joan Allen in the role.

According to the Associated Press, Heidi also won the Pulitzer Prize for drama.

Moss’ co-stars include Jason Biggs of Orange is the New Black and American Pie; Tony nominee Bryce Pinkham (A Gentleman’s Guide To Love and Murder); and Tracee Chimo (Bad Jews).

Tony winner Pam MacKinnon (Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, a Delicate Balance) is directing, with scenic design from John Lee Beatty. Costume designer is Jessica Pabst.

The producers didn’t say where the production will be staged, but performances are slated to start in February.

Moss won a Golden Globe for Top of the Lake. She has been nominated for Emmys for her role as Peggy Olson on Mad Men every year since 2009, but has yet to win.
