It seemed like teaser after teaser were being released to promote American Horror Story: Freakshow, but the moment we’ve all been waiting for has arrived: the official extended trailer was released by FX today and gives a glimpse of all the creepy things in store for the new season.
Season four takes place in Jupiter, Florida in 1952 and centers around Lange’s exhibition, which is one of the few remaining freak shows left in the US. Emmy winners Jessica Lange and Kathy Bates return to the show along with other familiar faces including last season’s Emma Roberts and Sarah Paulson along with newcomers Wes Bentley, John Carroll Lynch, and Finn Witrock.
The eerie promo gives a closer look at some of the “freaks” including the bearded lady, the strong man, and the three breasted woman.
American Horror Story: Freakshow debuts on FX on Oct. 8.
