Following reports that Khloe Kardashian wants to take a break from her boyfriend, French Montana, her Twitter followers thought she was getting a dig into him with a quote she posted.

However, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star told those same followers that it was simply nothing more than quote.

She first tweeted, “Some cause happiness wherever they go; others whenever they go.

When one Twitter user told her, “Come on Khloe. You're better than this,” she responded with, “stop reading into things. It's a quote not towards a soul. Made me laugh. Hush up.”

Another person accused her of “subtweeting French already,” and she shot them down as well. “Adults don't subtweet. It's a quote Chill.”

As we previously reported, Kardashian reportedly decided to take a step back from the relationship because she sensed he was getting too dependent on her.

Sources told Us Weekly she thought he was becoming “too needy.”

Kardashian and the “Don’t Panic” rapper started dating in April and he will be featured a lot on the upcoming season of her KUWTK spin-off with sister Kourtney Kardashian, Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons.
