Miley Cyrus is dishing about her relationship with ex-fiancé Liam Hemsworth in a new interview with Sunday Night.
Cyrus opens up about a variety of topics in the tell-all interview, including her current status with her actor ex. During the conversation Cyrus seems to hint that there will always be a special connection between the two, despite rumors leading up to their breakup.
Cyrus said, “I love Liam. Liam loves me” during the interview, according to Yahoo!.
She then went on to explain the message behind her hit single “Wrecking Ball." Many believe the song was about her famous ex because of Cyrus’ emotional performance of the song at the American Music Awards last November.
"It's about finding yourself. I had to set myself free," she said.
The pair met on the set of their movie The Last Song in 2010 and became an item shortly after they finished filming. They became engaged two years later but broke up in September 2013, reportedly over Cyrus’ sexy and edgy new image, Hollywoodlife reports.
Despite the drama and turmoil at the end of their relationship, the two clearly still have a lot of love for each other.
