New York State is investigating the clinic Joan Rivers had her throat procedure done, Yorkville Endoscopy, which went terribly wrong when she stopped breathing a week ago.

James O’Hare, spokesperson for the New York State Department of Health, confirmed in a statement, they are “investigating the matter," Daily News reports.

“It’s a full investigation of the matter,” he continued. “Since it’s an ongoing investigation I can’t comment on what we’re looking at.”

Fox News reports it’s not known as of Thursday where Rivers’ health status stands.

Statements from her daughter, Melissa Rivers, have only indicated that she’s still on life support. She also reported she was moved out of the intensive care unit of Mount Sinai hospital on Wednesday, where she is “being kept comfortable.”

The Rivers’ E! show Fashion Police has been put on hold until she recovers.

Yorkville Endoscopy has not responded to request for comment and the hospital currently doesn’t have any updates on her health.
