Nick Cannon has announced his first venture since splitting from wife of six years, Mariah Carey. The America’s Got Talent host will be writing a children’s book of poetry.

On Tuesday, Scholastic confirmed their collaboration with Cannon on Neon Aliens Ate My Homework and Other Poems.

According to Billboard, the book will come out in March 2015 and feature poetry with hip-hop influenced elements.

The book will also include artwork from street artists, which will be in black and white.

Back in January, Cannon confirmed that he and Carey were working on a children’s book inspired by their twins; Moroccan and Monroe, called Roc and Roe’s Twelve Days of Christmas. Scholastic will be publishing this book as well.

The then-couple said in a statement through the company at the time, “We are so excited to work with the Scholastic team on our Roc and Roe picture book and we can’t wait until this holiday season.”

Late last month it was revealed Cannon and Carey have been living separately.
