Singer Britney Spears became more than the punchline for a sketch on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night.
Jimmy Fallon, comedian and the Tonight Show host, brought the Mississippi-born singer on as a special guest for a sketch called “The Pros and Cons of Dating Britney Spears” during Tuesday night’s show.
“She’s recently single, she sings good jingles, she loves her Pringles, and she’s ready to mingle,” Fallon said before introducing Spears onto the set.
The Saturday Night Live alum then revealed to the pop star that he created a Tinder account for her.
Tinder is a matchmaking mobile app that works like a dating site by using a person’s Facebook account to provide pictures and ages for other people to view.
Spears recently ended her relationship with her now ex-boyfriend David Lucado, who is accused of cheating on her with adult film actress Cali Lee, according to the Daily Mail.
“I want to stress Britney had nothing to do with this- this was our idea,” Fallon said to a laughing audience as Spears wore a horrified expression to the news.
When Fallon asked if she was excited to be on tinder, Spears answered with a turned expression.
“Oh yeah I’m thrilled,” she said in disgust.
In the sketch, it was revealed that 10 different people had already asked Spears out on her profile, to which Spears responded by playfully waving to Fallon’s Tonight Show band, The Roots.
Spears is no novice to the dating scene. The 32-year-old singer has hung off the arms such as singer Justin Timberlake, NFL star Tom Brady, actor and singer Jared Leto and ex-husband to her two children Kevin Federline, according to a list compiled by Perez Hilton.
According to US Weekly, Spears was in New York, where The Tonight Show is taped, debuting her new line of sleepwear and lingerie line called "The Intimate Britney Spears," which was mentioned during the sketch.
"Jimmy's wearing it under his suit right now," Spears said after Fallon said the lingrie could be worn by anyone.
"It's an interesting time for me," Fallon added.
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs weeknights at 11:34 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
