Over the course of the summer, we saw a disturbing account of celebrities whose private photos were hacked and were then distributed online. It’s unfortunate that events like these happen. In this case, it happened because of a hacking, and in others, another party, much to the chagrin of the celebrity in question, leaked footage.
Past celebrity sex scandals often occurred due to the leak of nude to semi-nude photos or footage that was filmed privately. Other scandals occur due to affairs that leave us confused, especially when we may never expect it from a celebrity, such as Tiger Woods.
Many stars were able to keep the footage under wraps while in other cases the footage may still be online. However, many of the stars have worked to make sure excerpts, photos, or clips were removed so no one would view them.
