Comedian Joan Rivers is on life support and fans have taken to Twitter to express their concern.

Fashion Police host Joan Rivers was rushed to the hospital when she stopped breathing during surgery on her vocal cords, TheCelebrityCafe.com previously reported.

The 81-year-old seemed to be stable until things took a bad turn and she was put on life support, according to TMZ.

The name Joan Rivers is now trending on Twitter and fans are tweeting their support and concern for the legendary Hollywood icon.

Melissa Rivers, the comedian’s daughter, has flown from Los Angeles to New York to be with her mother.

“Thank you for your continued love and support,” Melissa Rivers said in a statement, according to U.S. News. "We are keeping our fingers crossed.”

Rivers’ Fashion Police costars Kelly Osbourne and Giulianna Rancic tweeted their concerns about the ailing comedian.

According to ABC News, Rivers has been unconscious since her arrival at Mount Sinai Hospital. Rivers is supposedly in a medical induced coma until doctors believe she is in a more stable condition.
