"For Halloween, Beyoncé and her daughter, Blue Ivy, paid tribute to Michael and Janet Jackson.
Beyoncé, 33, imitated Janet’s “Rhythm Nation” ensemble. The “Drunk in Love” singer sported an embellished and chunky cap, along with a pair of skinny jeans and heeled boots similar to what Janet wore in the video of the 1989 hit, according to the Daily Mail.
To make the matching costume complete, Beyoncé dressed Blue Ivy as the King of Pop. The 2-year-old wore Michael’s famous red and gold jacket, along with aviator sunglasses as she held on to a pink microphone.
Beyoncé has always noted the Jacksons as a big influence on her growing up and even quoted Michael as the reason that she is the artist she is today, the Daily Mail notes.
Jay Z, 44, decided not to participate in the Halloween festivities, but he did wear a Jason mask while performing on stage at Powerhouse 2014, according to Rap-Up. He was seen carrying Blue Ivy to their car in a blue checked shirt, jeans and Timberland boots.
The trio were headed to a Halloween bash in New York City Thursday Night, according to Entertainment Tonight.
Beyoncé posted a cute picture of her and Blue Ivy along with another matching Halloween costume of two babies dressed like her and Jay Z posing in front of Mona Lisa on her Instagram page Friday.
