Jim Carrey took Matthew McConaughey’s Lincoln MKC ads to task in a spoof for Saturday Night Live this past weekend, which proved to be one of the highlights of his hosting stint.
His spoof, which plays on McConaughey’s pronounced speech, is the most viral sketch of the night. He not only imitated his speech, but he also changed the words for added effect.
"Sometimes you've got to go back to actually move forward, and I don't mean go back and reminisce or chase ghosts, I mean take a big step back like go from winning an Oscar to doing a car commercial," he said of McConaughey’s Oscar winning role in The Dallas Buyer’s Club.

"My agent was like, 'I could understand if you did this right after The Lincoln Lawyer that would have made sense.' But you don't buy a Lincoln 'cause it makes sense. You do it 'cause you love it -- or 'cause you're an Uber driver," he added.
Carrey made light of the way McConaughey plays around with his fingers while he drives, saying, “When I'm done rolling up this booger should I eat it or throw it out the window?"
Last month, Ellen DeGeneres spoofed the commercial but took a different approach, Us Weekly notes.
