Justin Timberlake will be ending his 20/20 Experience tour in style. The superstar singer will be filming his last two shows in Las Vegas.
Timberlake’s show won’t be directed by just anyone though. zthe singer has tapped Oscar winning director Jonathan Demme for the task, who won the award for directing the acclaimed film The Silence of the Lambs. Demme is no stranger to the music world though. He has filmed Talking Heads concerts, a Bruce Springsteen music video and three Neil Young concert documentaries.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Timberlake will complete his tour at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas on Jan. 1 and Jan. 2. Before the tour’s end, though, Timberlake will be performing in Las Vegas at the same venue at the end of November in preparation.
Since Timberlake began his tour, it has brought in close to $200 million so far, reports BET.
Timberlake will be beginning the last leg of his tour on Nov. 20 starting in Portland. He will also be stopping in Dallas, Houston and Chicago. Tickets go on sale Oct. 24.
