Jenna Hamilton, star of MTV’ s hit show Awkward, will be awkwardly graduating in season five with no future to look forward to.
TV Line reported that, on Wednesday, MTV announced the show's final season, giving fans one last chance to watch the crazy antics of Jenna and her friends. The final season is set to mark the end of their high school careers, making fans jokingly assume that no future for the show means no one got accepted into college.
This series on MTV follows Jenna Hamilton, played by Ashley Rickards, and her crazy, yet comical crew. After what looked like an attempted suicide that finally put Jenna on the teenage radar, Hamilton truly entered the hell known as high school. With episodes covering breakups, drug use and pregnancy scares, Awkward deals with all the generalities known as teenage angst, with the addition of a comical whit.
According to Yahoo TV, Awkward is already in the second half of their fourth season, meaning this show will soon be entering it's final countdown. New episodes air Tuesdays at 10/9c on MTV.
