Just days after Jennifer Lawrence broke her silence on hacking of her nude photos, her ex-boyfriend, Nicholas Hoult, is now speaking publicly about it as well.
The X-Men co-stars dated on and off for four years before splitting this past spring. The naked photos that were leaked to the internet were intended for Hoult’s eyes only.
While appearing on Good Day New York, Hoult was asked to comment and he said, "It's shocking that things like that happen in the world. It's a shame.”
Lawrence, who’s now dating Coldplay’s Chris Martin, echoed the same sentiments as Hoult when she spoke out about it to Vanity Fair.
“Just because I’m a public figure, just because I’m an actress, does not mean that I asked for this. It does not mean that it comes with the territory,” she said. “It’s my body, and it should be my choice, and the fact that it is not my choice is absolutely disgusting. I can’t believe that we even live in that kind of world."
She also called it a “sex crime,” saying of Hoult, “I was in a loving, healthy, great relationship for four years. It was long distance, and either your boyfriend is going to look at porn or he’s going to look at you.”
