Three months before the Second One ravaged New York City, SyFy has forecast where a third Sharknado is going to hit... and it’s not going to be pretty.
In a tweet on Monday, the meteorologists at the Asylum studio predicted that Sharknado 3 will hit the “Feast Coast,” stretching from Washington D.C. to Orlando. Those sharks aren’t going to know what to do once Southern Hospitality gets in their way.
SyFy went ahead and ordered a third Sharknado in April, three months before Sharknado: The Second One even premiered. Unlike the first Sharknado, which was a hit with Twitter but took some time to draw viewers, Second One was an instant hit, drawing 4 million viewers in July.
It is not known how many stars from the past Sharknados will make it to the third round. Tara Reid recently told CinemaBlend that she had not heard from SyFy about a third one. Ian Ziering co-starred in the first two.
The Second One was also famous for its array of bizarre celebrity guest appearances. Mark McGrath told us about preparing for the movie in February. The singer was joined by Al Roker, Matt Lauer, Kelly Osbourne, Vivica A. Fox, Kelly Osbourne, Judd Hirsch and Judah Friedlander.
At this moment, no air date for the third Sharknado is set, but it will probably be ready to go by summer 2015.
