Comedians are known for their raunchy language and ability to turn anything in pop culture into a joke. Often times, the stand up routines are harmless, although they might contain a few words that may not be used in every day conversation.
Sometimes, comedians can go too far when they make comments, or they make controversial remarks about people based on previous experiences that person has had. One such recent case occurred with comedian Hannibal Buress, who called fellow comedian and actor Bill Cosby a rapist.
This was referring to a 2006 case in which he underwent a settlement with a woman who made the claim that the legend had assaulted her. The remarks were very controversial, but it is not the first time a comedian has made statements that make us look twice when reading about the performance.
TheCelebrityCafe.com is looking back at some of the top ten controversial stand up performances that have been made by various comedians. What controversial performance do you remember most?
