Monday’s episode of NCIS: Los Angeles saw the team still working together in an effort to save Hetty from an old nemesis named Mattias. While all this is happening, Hetty must still contend with the fact that there is a committee questioning her abilities in leading her team at NCIS. In order to be present to protect her team, Hetty defies the rules and leaves in order to go back home to Los Angeles.
As always, the team did everything they could to find out where Mattias was, even when he always seemed to be one step ahead of them. One thing is for sure though, the team never wavers in their quest to discover where Mattias is so they can save their boss.
While all this is going on, Nell is still reeling from killing someone for the first time. She has a hard time dealing with it and a familiar face, Nate Getz, who worked with the team and has since focused on psychology, comes to counsel her.
TheCelebrityCafe.com has put together some of the top ten moments from NCIS: Los Angeles’ episode “The Third Choir.”

10. Nell and Hetty
Nell seems to have a close relationship with Hetty and this is apparent when she is not ready to go back to work. Upon calling Nell to find out how the search is going, she discovers that Nell is not working and then finds out what happened with the man she killed. Hetty is able to talk to her and get her to do some work in getting her ready for her landing back home.

8. Sam gets hit on
One of the best moments in the episode occurred when Inspector Wallace with the Department of Justice hit on Sam. It appears that Sam made quite an impression on her, most likely during the high speed chase they went on during a previous episode. Of course, Sam did have to turn her down because he’s married. But seeing the look on Callen’s face upon realizing Sam was hit on made the scene even better.

7. Hetty in the plane
Hetty is able to sneak onto a military jet surrounded by offers as they are on their way to Camp Pendleton. However, a friend of Hetty’s comes and finds her. He tries to convince her to stay, but she tells him she isn’t, much to the amusement of the men around her.

6. Nate and Nell
When we first see Nell, she is in her room ignoring phone calls, including one from Eric. She hears a knock on the door and holds her weapon as she goes to answer. It turns out to be Nate, who has come to talk to her about what happened. Once he does talk to her, he’s not sure she is ready to come back to the field and work.

5. Callen’s money?
The first time we see Callen in this episode, he goes through a graveyard before finding a stash of money he has hidden. With almost $240,000, he takes it back to the office in order to use it to try and get a reward for Hetty. Because he is so bent on getting Mattias, Owen Granger asks Sam to keep him in check.

4. Saving Hetty
This wasn’t one particular moment, but I loved how the team came together in order to find someone who was a threat to someone they worked with. It showed the care they had for keeping her safe and that they could all work together for a common goal.

3. Hetty’s jump
One of the moments we couldn’t help but love was Hetty’s jump from the building where her hearing was. She was determined to get out and decided to make the long jump into a pile of garbage. She crosses herself before the jump and even remarks she should have remembered her stretches from that morning.

2. Partners
Kensi and Deeks share an awkward moment with Granger when they appear to walk in at the same time and say something that alludes to them living together. He merely gives them a silent stare as they nervously say they are just partners before he gets into the case.

[new page= Showdown]
1. Showdown
The best part of the episode was at the end when Mattias and Hetty finally come face to face. They both exchange words, with Hetty poking at the fact that Mattias was still carrying a grudge at his age. She keeps her cool even as Mattias tries to lead her away, but when Inspector Wallace appears, things get testy as the team comes in to prevent anything from happening to their boss.
