After weeks of intense competition on The Voice it is down to the top twelve artists left on each team. The power is now in the hands of America to vote who they wanted to see advance to the next round within the contest. The coaches will not have a save from here on out in the competition.
After all twelve artists perform, two artists will be sent home based upon the votes from the night. It was also announced that the finalists would be performing original songs during the finale. Coaches will be working with a songwriter of their choice to create an original song.

Next up was Ryan Sill, who was saved by Stefani last week. Stefani chose Duran Duran’s
“Ordinary World” for Sill to perform. Starting off the comments was Levine who said that the song choice was great and that he said from the beginning that he is an amazing singer and that people didn’t fully realize his vocal range. Williams added that Sill really does have it and that rock is the genre to go in throughout this competition. Coach Gwen closed out the reviews by saying that she was excited to hear this performance and it was so perfect and she hopes that it is clear why she saved Sill.
Jessie Pitts was up next who was saved by Shelton last week. Pitts performed “Don't You World Child” which was originally sung by Swedish House Mafia. Pitts sang a stripped down version of the popular EDM song. Stefani said that she loved the song and the broken down version. Levine added that he liked it a lot and he encouraged Pitts to keep exploring the larger parts of her voice. Shelton added that she really works hard and even talking about Pitts makes him smile. He reminded everyone that she clearly is in the right place being on this show.
Following Pitts was Damien. Coach Adam picked “He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother” to perform. Shelton started off the critique by saying that it was a great song choice and the team effort that is going on is solid. Williams added that the last run made him get out of his chair and it reminded him of southern church. Coach Adam added that Damien really trusted him as a coach and it paid off because he blew the audience away with this song.
Nica Shirey from Team Pharrell was up next and she performed “Creep” by Radiohead. Stefani started off the comments by saying that she just loves watching Shirey because she is a force of nature on stage. Levine added that Shirey is so good, anything that she sings is going to be amazing and it makes the song choices even harder because she can perform so many things. This song choice was unexpected and unique. Coach Pharrell added that this was the performance he wanted from her.
Team Gwen was up next and Taylor John Williams took the stage. Stefani chose “If” which is a more unknown love song. Shelton added that he really changed the song and made it is own. Shelton encouraged him to go towards his darker side as an artist and he sounded great. Stefani added that she really heard what his voice is while he was singing that song.
Next up was Reagan James from Team Blake. James sang “It Ain’t Over, Till It’s Over.” Williams started off the comments by saying that it was cool for James to take on this kind of song. Levine added that he loved that song and it was a very cool and different performance. Shelton added that it is impressive that at her age, James is a creator and innovator in this industry.
Following James was Luke Wade from Team Pharrell. Wade performed “Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran. Wade stopped early into the song because he forgot the words. Levine said that he was super nervous but he recovered like a professional would in this situation. Stefani added that it has happened to everyone and the audience can sing along. Williams added that the situation happened and he rose to the occasion.
Team Adam continued next with Matt McAndrew who performed “Take Me To Church.” Shelton said that it was clear that he performed well but it was hard to hear McAndrew. Williams said that he couldn't wait to hear the album he makes after the show. Levine added that he couldn’t hear the vocals well but he knew that this was a great song choice and it really showcased his vocal range and emotion.
Next up was Craig Wayne Boyd who performed a classic George Strait song. The performance brought both Shelton and Williams to their feet. Stefani started off the comments by saying that the lyrics in the song were really for her and it’s sad that she doesn’t have Boyd on her team anymore but the performance was great. Levine said that he really gives it up for Shelton and his team because this was a telling moment. Williams added it was a really clean and super professional performance. Shelton said that every time Body gets on the stage he really showcases a different side to who he is and that it is the true mark of a star.
Following Boyd was Chris Jamison from Team Adam. Levine picked the newer song “Jealous” by Nick Jonas to perform. Williams added that the performance was effortless and that is the way you are supposed to float across the stage. Stefani added that it is very impressive to see Jamison perform songs that he would probably be recording after the show. Coach Levine added that it is true that Jamsion is cute but he is also a very talented singer.
Closing the show was Anita Antoinette from Team Gwen. Antoinette is performed “Redemption Song,” by Bob Marley. Levine added that it was a great performance and you have to be proud that Antoniette was able to be an ambassador for Jamaica. Shelton added that her voice is so soothing and relaxing and it was a great job. Stefani added that it was incredible and that the song was an authentic and beautiful message.
The results for the top ten will be announced tomorrow night on NBC.
