Last night featured all of the top ten vocalists performing for America’s vote on The Voice and tonight the top eight vocalists will advance to the next round. The results also feature an instant save portion; upon the bottom three artists being announced all three sing for their lives and votes via Twitter will save one artist. The live results also featured Taylor Swift returning to the Voice to perform her chart-topping hit “Blank Space.”

The night kicked off with Adam Levine and his team coming together to perform “Only The Good Die Young,” by Billy Joel. After that electrifying performance it was announced that Craig Wayne Boyd from Team Blake would advance along with Matt McAndrew from Team Adam.

The next two artists who were safe from elimination were Luke Wade from Team Pharrell and Taylor John Williams from Team Gwen.

Before the show moved on with the results, Team Pharrell came together for a classic performance of “What A Wonderful World.” Williams looked stunning a full tuxedo. Williams changed the last lyrics of the song to reflect the current situation-taking place in Ferguson. Following that performance it was announced that DaNica Shirey from Team Pharrell advanced, making all of his team members safe. The next artist to advance was Chris Jamison from Team Adam.

Taylor Swift took to the stage next and performed her hit single, “Blank Space.” She also thanked her fans for showing up and supporting 1989 and was pleased to see how her advice helped the artists.

Next up it was announced that Damien would be moving on from Team Adam. Leaving Anita Antoinette, Reagan James and Ryan Sill in the bottom three. Each of the three artists had to perform before the Twitter instant save would take place.

Following James was Anita Antoinette who sang “The Remedy” by Jason Mraz. Coach Gwen commented on the performance by saying that Antoinette is an incredible person and that she cares so much about music and life and that she is a truly beautiful person, making her a great artist.

The last performance of the night went to Ryan Sill. Sill put his own unique spin on “Collide” by Howie Day. Stefani added that Sill is so talented and encouraged the audience to scream for Sill. With that the voting was opened for the instant save.

It was announced that would be advancing Ryan Sill from Team Gwen sending home Anita Antoinette and Reagan James.

The top eight will be performing on Monday on NBC.
