Getting canned before it even aired, the dramedy tv show Member's Only was cancelled by ABC Saturday after the network told the cast it was over, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

THR reports that the show originally was supposed to be penned by Oscar-nominated writer David O. Russell, who left the project a month after ABC ordered a 13-episode direct-to-series package along with co-writer and creator Susannah Grant.

Full House's John Stamos was set to star in the series alongside Breaking Bad's Betsy Brandt, as stated by THR. The series was to be about the lives of the people attending a private country club, as well as the employees working there. A Downtown Abbey meets Caddyshack if you will.

This is not the first show to get sent to the gallows before airing this year. THR says that NBC dropped a Wizard of Oz-inspired series entitled Emerald City and Fox axed Egyptian-centered show Hieroglyph. NBC also passed on the Tina Fey-created show The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, however as we reported, Netflix has since picked up the show.

The cancellation of this show only proves that we can’t get that Full House reunion show any time sooner.
