Dancing with the Stars has its Season 19 champ and it’s none other than the creator of ‘The Carlton’ himself, Alfonso Ribeiro, and his partner Witney Carson.

Over the two-hour finale, previously eliminated contestants such as Tommy Chung and Jonathan Bennett danced, and singers such as Meghan Trainor and Jennifer Hudson performed.

The highlight of the night, however, was Ribeiro finding out he edged out Sadie Robertson of Duck Dynasty and Janel Parrish for the mirror ball trophy.

CBS News reports it’s the first time a male has own the show since Season 14, when Donald Driver won. It’s also a great achievement for Carson, who’s only been on the show for two seasons.

After his win, he thanked his Fresh Prince of Bel-Air co-star, Will Smith, for posting a message to his fans on Facebook to vote for him, USA Today reports.

“I thought it was really a huge possibility that Mark and Sadie were going to win,” he also said. “I leaned into Witney right before they said the names (of the winners) and I said, 'Be prepared to hear Mark and Sadie.’ It was anybody's game and they were amazing. And she grew as a dancer from the first week until now and America loves people when they have a great journey. She had one."
