Amanda Bynes’ parents, Lynn and Rick Bynes, have reached their limit. They will reportedly be filing paperwork to surrender their conservatorship of their troubled daughter in the next few days and plan to move from California to Texas to get away from it all.
The Hairspray actress, 28, has been busy tweeting about her anger towards her parents for “holding” her money, telling her over 3 million followers “I don't have new clothes or enough money to rent an apartment.”
She also tweeted about her plans to get “unconserved,” saying her lawyer told her it can happen if she will “comply with the courts and take my meds and see my psychologist and pyshchiatrist weekly.”
TMZ reports when they give up their rights of the conservatorship, however, she won’t be free to fend for herself in financial matters or otherwise.
Sources say they will transfer those duties to someone else, likely a professional with experience in treating those with severe mental illnesses.
The Bynes’ are understandably burnt out in trying to get their daughter the help she needs. The What I Like About You star has even accused her father of being a “sexual predator” who should be in jail.
