Few in New York City could imagine a bigger disaster than what the Jets have become. That is, until they turned on the news and saw the goings on in Buffalo recently. Despite the snow though, the Jets - Bills game this Sunday is still scheduled as planned.

According to NFL.com, the league is currently working with the Bills organization to decide the viability of Ralph Wilson Stadium. They also reported that the team is currently working on snow removal and the plan is to still play as scheduled. If anything changes, that will purely be the league's decision.

So far, about four-feet of snow has fallen in the Buffalo area, and two or three more is expected on Thursday.

When natural disasters strike, the NFL is usually quick to act. Some prior examples saw the game moved to the oppositions home stadium. In this case though, that won't work as the Jets share a home stadium with the Giants, who play in MetLife Stadium this Sunday.

Despite Bills WR Marquise Goodwin's epic shirt-less snow photo on Instagram, the team must be frustrated with the current situation. Tonight, Buffalo University, who is only 18 miles away from Ralph Wilson Stadium, will play a near-free snow game. They'll be watching as they can't even escape their own house, no less make it to practice.
