This week on Awkward., Jenna accidentally spilled about her hook-up with Matty, plaguing everyone's spring break in Mexico. Also, Sadie filmed her scholarship video for Columbia University, but wound up on the receiving end of a cruel prank.

Jenna continued to wallow over not being accepted into college with senior year almost over. Lacey tried to lift her spirits by mentioning Aunt Ally renting a beach house in Rosarito, Mexico for spring break. Everyone, including Sadie, who got into Columbia, will be heading out there. Jenna made a big deal about both her mother and Sadie will be going to college in the fall. Lacey still hadn't told Jenna's dad about her acceptance into Lockard, until Jenna herself blurted out the news. Kevin was stunned, but Lacey was determined to have a career as a "fixer."

Jenna felt guilty about kissing Matty after his birthday party, especially since she was sort of friends with Gabby. She will also be headed to spring break with the gang, making things more awkward for Jenna and Matty. Jenna tried to convince Matty they should tell her what happened, but he didn't want to ruin things with her.

Sadie was given an opportunity to pay for college through a scholarship video. She didn't want to spend the "next 40 years in debt," so she enlisted Theo and Cole to direct while Jake was her image consultant. She insisted Jake help because he was super nice, and she needed him to make her look deserving of the scholarship.

Matty dropped by to tell Jenna he attempted to call his biological father, but the number was outdated. Jenna did a Google search, but was interrupted by her mom, who told her Gabby was in the living room. Talk about an awkward situation, especially since Gabby was there to replace the bottle of tequila Matty destroyed at his party. They spoke of going to Mexico together, and their mutual fear of Sadie. Jenna felt guiltier about lying to Gabby, so she threw Matty out of her room.

Sadie was scripting her video, which also meant she had to chill with her nasty attitude. Theo and Cole began filming as Sadie couldn't help but look disgusted at how her life had panned out so far. Jake recommended for her not to look constipated when mentioning her time working in a food truck. She reworded her video and ordered Jake to edit the piece.

Gabby stopped Jenna at her locker to tell her she was cool with what happened between her and Matty after the party. Jenna assumed Matty told her about the hook-up, but he only mentioned talking to her when she was upset about her mom getting into college. Gabby was devastated to learn Matty and Jenna kissed and stormed off.

Tamara, along with the rest of P.H.H.S. were being judgmental towards Jenna because of the hook-up. Feeling isolated, Jenna paid a visit to Val, who offered no helpful advice. A run-in with Sadie didn't help either when she reported Matty was no longer going to Mexico. Jenna shouldn't be taking all the blame when she was the one who stopped the hook-up before it went too far. Matty was just as much to blame since he kissed her, knowing he had a girlfriend.

Sadie got her's, though, when her scholarship video was broadcast with the morning announcements. It wasn't her video, but a blooper reel mash-up of her expletives in between takes. Everyone found it funny, while Sadie threatened murder on Theo. It wasn't Theo, but Jake who edited the video together to teach Sadie a lesson. "Maybe you're not as big a bitch as you want everyone to think you are," he said, showing he was a good friend. He even sent the actual scholarship video to Columbia, not the blooper version.

Frustrated with Matty and spring break, Jenna finally lashed out at her mom for always trying to compete with her. Her dad offered helpful advice as she finally realized why Matty went to her, not Gabby, about his biological parents. She gave him a push to meet his biological father by finding him through social media and telling him he lived an hour away from Ally's spring break rental.

While Jenna was packing for the trip, her dad dropped off her mom's personal statement for her to read. It read like a love letter to Jenna about how proud her mother was of her, and how she wanted to make Jenna proud. It was a complete 180 from the "carefrontation" letter in the first season.

Matty decided to contact his father and arranged a visit during spring break. He was on the phone to someone, asking if they would accompany him to meet his father. At first, we assumed it was Jenna, but it turned out to be Gabby; just when Jenna believed there was hope for her and Matty.

Quote of the Week: "Look at her. Holding court like a newly engaged Kardashian," Tamara, when she and Jenna noticed Sadie in the cafeteria after her acceptance to Columbia.

Next week is the beginning of the season four finale, and a lot of drama is supposed to go down. Will Jenna finally get into college? Will she and Matty get back together? What do you think?

Awkward. airs Tuesdays at 10/9c on MTV.
