Benedict Cumberbatch talked about the kind of man he thinks Sherlock Holmes would be in bed.

Cumberbatch stars as the famous detective in BBC's Sherlock so as far as taking his word for what Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's creation would be like as a lover, he is a trusted source.

"He knows bodies very well. I’d know exactly how to please a woman. Think about violinists, think about what they can do with their fingers," Cumberbatch told Elle UK in an interview.

This might get some of Cumberbatch's most passionate fans excited, but as far as ever seeing Sherlock engaged in a passionate love scene in the series?

""You never will. It’s not that kind of a program, is it,"" Cumberbatch teased.

Cumberbatch can next be seen in the film The Imitation Game which is based on the true story of genius Alan Turing. When asked how he ends up portraying so many clever characters, Cumberbatch confessed he is not sure, considering he struggled with mathematics in school.

“It’s strange, I never felt the security of being able to answer things immediately or program my brain to get something quickly,” Cumberbatch said to The Independent. “I suppose it’s an interesting thing to ask why you get cast to play clever people, and I think one of the reasons is because I’m not.”
