Bill Cosby's lawyer is speaking out again, saying the "vilification" of the 77-year-old comedian must end.

Cosby's loyal lawyer, Martin Singer, hasn't been quiet about the Cosby rape allegations that recently resurfaced, halting the famous comedian's prime-time comeback. Singer previously stated that the comedian wouldn't "dignify" the allegations, which both men consider old and discredited.

Singer once again spoke after additional women came forward, claiming that they were raped or taken advantage of by Cosby, who has never been charged with a crime.

According to People, an irritated Singer lashed out at the media's mounting vilification of Cosby. Singer said the allegations were "unsubstantiated, fantastical stories" that "have escalated past the point of absurdity." The claimants share similar tales involving alcohol, drugs and feeling violated.

Singer continued: "These brand new claims about alleged decades-old events are becoming increasingly ridiculous, and it is completely illogical that so many people would have said nothing, done nothing and made no reports to law enforcement or asserted civil claims if they thought they had been assaulted over a span of so many years."

While Singer was defending Cosby in Hollywood, the comedian performed for a cheering crowd in Florida, according to CNN Money. Many of Cosby's shows have been canceled, but his show in Melbourne, Fla., was incredibly successful. Cosby even received a standing ovation at the end of his 90-minute show.

A local radio station had apparently urged people to stage a protest during the performance, but according to the CNN article, the show started and ended without any issues.
