Sir Bob Geldof has plans for another Band Aid charity single, this time to help Ebola in West Africa and to mark the 30th anniversary of the first iconic single.

Geldof and Midge Ure, who put together the original Band Aid in 1984 to raise money for famine relief in Ethiopia, are putting together a new recording of “Do They Know It’s Christmas.” According to The BBC, which reported on the project before it was officially announced, it will include One Direction, Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith.

ITV News reports that the other artists involved are Adele, Bastille, Bono, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Ellie Goulding, Emeli Sande and Ollie Murs.

The BBC later reported that, during a press conference, Geldof and Ure confirmed that other versions of the single will be recorded in France, Germany and the U.S.

Bono also contributed to the original 1984 recording. The song was re-recorded in 1989 and 2004. That initial single led to the historic Live Aid shows in London and Philadelphia, which were followed 20 years later with Live Aid 20. That project was meant to help the situation in Darfur.
