Britney Spears has been cozy in her new relationship with boyfriend Charlie Ebersol for the past few weeks, and although the couple met through mutual friends, before Ebersol was even able to come face to face with the pop star, he had to sign a confidentiality agreement!
Spears recently confirmed she was in a new relationship on Extra and even shared a picture of the two together on her social media.
Although sources have confirmed that the couple met through mutual friends, it was previously reported that Ebersol had brought an idea for a reality tv show starring Spears to her father, Jamie Spears. Jamie liked the idea of the show, and decided that Spears and Ebersol should meet.
But before the two were able to meet face to face, Jamie required Ebersol to sign a confidentiality agreement, according to TMZ. Spears' father requires everyone to sign to confidentiality agreement, which Ebersol understood.
TMZ is also reporting that Ebersol is very serious about the agreement, because he has been very tight-lipped about his relationship with Spears. If Ebersol does happen to say anything he shouldn't about Spears, though, there are apparently severe penalties for violating the confidentiality agreement.
