In a new interview on the Today show, Drew Barrymore revealed that she wanted to focus more on motherhood, and would be acting less and less.
According to E! Online, Barrymore, who is the mother to two little girls, Olive, 2, and Frankie, 6 months, sat down with the Today show's Savannah Guthrie, to discuss motherhood, her makeup business, and her future as an actress.
Barrymore admitted to Guthrie that she thinks her own untraditional upbringing is what has made her want to focus more on motherhood and really be "present" in her children's lives. It's also why she thinks that she won't be taking on as many acting roles, saying, "I think I will act less and less...I find the hours at this point in my life too difficult with kids."
The actress, who will be turning 40 soon, also said that, while she and husband, Will Kopelman, aren't planning on having a third child any time soon, she's open-minded about the possibility. She added on that, "We're really happy with where we are ... So I think if we got pregnant we'd be the happiest people on Earth, and then we'd just feel even luckier."
In the mean time, Barrymore has been busy with her cosmetics line, Flower Beauty that is exclusively sold at Walmart stores.
