Fox released the newest couch gag from the upcoming The Simpsons and Futurama crossover episode entitled "Simpsorama" on Thursday on its YouTube page.

The Simpsons and Futurama were both created by Matt Groening. According to their respective IMDB pages, The Simpsons is based on subjects from Groening's hometown and the idea for Futurama stemmed from Groening listening to The Incredible String Band's song "Robot Blues."

The clip opens up with the typical Futurama title card gag with the show's space ship flying across the screen as the word "Simpsorama" spells out behind it. Below the word is written "A show out of ideas teams up with a show out of episodes," referring to Futurama's cancellation from Comedy Central last year.

The Simpson family is then seen running and sitting on their family room couch, which then morphs into Hedonismbot, a robot in the Futurama universe who is portrayed as a lover of opera, food and sex, much like an ancient Roman noble.

The robot character, voiced by Pinky and The Brain's Maurice LaMarche, tells the family to "wiggle in and get comfortable." As the rest of the family stands up in disgust, Homer Simpson, voiced by Dan Castellaneta, says "a couch is a couch," continuing his stay on the robot.

Hedonismbot then turns on some sultry music, changing the standing lamp's light bulb on the side of the couch to a red one to set the mood. Giggling, he takes off Homer's shirt with two of his robot arms while squirting lotion onto another, he then to massage Homer's naked shoulders and rubbing the lotion on Homer's body.

Moaning with delight, Homer lays down across the robot as he is fed grapes. Starting a vibrating cycle, Hedonismbot then walks Homer away off screen, the rest of the Simpson family to watch as Homer let's out one last "wahoo."

The episode's plot will revolve around Bart Simpson blowing his nose onto a sandwich which gets put into a time capsule which is then struck by radioactive material, which creates chaos in the future, as we reported. The robot character Bender from Futurama must then go back in time to kill Bart a la Terminator-style to stop this future from happening.

This is not the first time The Simpsons has done a crossover episode. On Sept. 28 of this year, a crossover between the show and the other Fox animated hit Family Guy premiered, the episode entitled "The Simpson Guy." The episode's plot centered around the Griffin family from Family Guy traveling to Springfield to meet the Simpsons, the two empty-headed dads and main characters of their respective shows to become friends after a round of beer drinking.

The Simpson/Futurama crossover episode premieres Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
