Hilary Duff has been sending mixed messages when it comes to her marriage to Mike Comrie, first announcing their separation in January but being seen out together multiple times, even without their son Luca.
In the December issue of Health, Duff said she and Comrie are fighting “for happiness” and currently trying to figure it out whether they will achieve that together or separately.
"We have a 2-year-old together. We love each other. Obviously it wasn't a rash decision that we made,” she said. “We really are just trying to figure out how we are the most happy – whether together or apart – and we're doing it as lovingly as possible.”
Duff continued that they “would hang out without their son regardless. “We think it's important to keep a strong relationship no matter if we're married or not married. And we love our son. We both want to fight for happiness."
Since announcing their separation, Duff and Comrie have continued to co-parent together but they were most recently seen out holding hands going to a Halloween party last month.
