Jennifer Lawrence is opening up about the effect the paparazzi and constant media attention have had on her life in a new interview while promoting the latest installment of The Hunger Games.
She admitted that part of the attention comes with the territory, but she never could have imagined the effect it has had on her.
"I knew the paparazzi were going to be a reality in my life, but I didn't know that I would feel anxiety every time I open my front door, or that being chased by 10 men you don't know, or being surrounded, feels invasive and makes me feel scared and gets my adrenaline going every day,” she told The AP.
She went on to say it’s “part of my job,” but “you don't expect is how your body and how your emotions are going to react to it."
Lawrence spoke out earlier this month about one of the negatives that has come with her career so far – her nude photo leaks. She called it a “sex crime” that should be treated as such.
"Nobody wants to help us because it seems like, you know, 'Shut up, millionaires!'" she joked.
