A judge has determined that Fury star Shia LaBeouf is making progress in his plea deal, stemming from his bizarre June episode during a Cabaret showing on Broadway.

LaBeouf’s lawyer, Robert Gage, spoke with the media after the judge was satisfied with proof that he had been to a treatment center in Los Angeles.

“Shia’s done a terrific jobcomplying with this program and we appreciate the court’s recognition of that,” Gage said, The AP reports.

LaBeouf himself appeared in front of the judge in a Manhattan court on Tuesday. The judge then set another progress hearing for March 20, 2015.

In September, LaBeouf agreed to a plea deal with prosecutors, agreed to continue the alcohol program at LA’s the Hills Treatment Center for three months in exchange for pleading guilty to charges of criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct. The deal also states that if he stays out of trouble for the next six months, the case will be dismissed.
