Justin Bieber has a real problem with photographers and not just the ones in the U.S. It turns out that he also may have assaulted a photographer during his controversial appearance in Buenos Aires and Argentina wants him to answer questions.
The incident in question happened on Nov. 9, 2013 at the INK nightclub in the country’s capital city. Photographer Diego Pesoa claims that Bieber and his entourage chased him and then beat him, reports The Associated Press.
Fearing that Bieber might not hear about these charges, judge Facundo Cubas contacted Interpol’s Argentina branch to find him, reports Argentina’s Telam. According to The Guardian, Bieber hasn’t been officially charged yet, so police just want to ask Bieber for his side of the story.
If Bieber doesn’t respond and submit his own testimony within 60 days, he could be arrested.
Bieber’s South American tour last year was filled with controversial incidents, but his time in Buenos Aires was particularly eventful. He ended the Nov. 9 show early, claiming he was sick with food poisoning. He also had to apologize for kicking an Argentine flag off the stage during the show.
