Katherine Heigl wishes she could turn back the hands of time and change Grey’s Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes’ impression of her following comments Rhimes publicly made about the difficulty working with her.

While promoting her new show NBC’s State of Affairs, Heigl showed remorse for the way she made Rhimes feel when they worked together on Grey’s, when she played Dr. Izzie Stevens.

"It sucks. I am sorry that she feels that way, and I wish her nothing but greatness, and I have nothing negative to say about Shonda,” Heigl told Extra’s Mario Lopez, adding she watches Rhimes’ Scandal every week.

"I'm sorry she's left with such a crappy impression of me. I wish I could do something to change that. Maybe I will be able to someday,” she continued.

She’s now left to her only option, to prove Rhimes and those involved in the scathing Hollywood Reporter piece wrong.

“And the only way to prove it wrong is for people to have a work experience with me that doesn't speak to that at all,” she said.

Rhimes told THR back in October that her Scandal cast is much different than her experience on Grey’s, saying “There are no Heigls in this situation." She also said she now has a "no a------s policy,” saying, "I don't put up with b------- or nasty people. I don't have time for it."
