Kathy Griffin hints that she may be replacing the legendary comedian Joan Rivers on Fashion Police.

Griffin spoke with Us Weekly at Goldie Hawn's event, Inaugural Love in For Kids on November 21st in Beverly Hills and hinted that she is considering replacing her dear friend on the hit television show. "It's definitely something I've put a lot of thought into and obviously there's an emotional tie for me because Joan was such a good friend of mine," Griffin said.

The comedian explained that before Rivers tragic death, she gave her a stamp of approval to take over the show one day but under one condition. "She and I talked about it many times. She joked that no matter what, I should always get 10 percent less than she got. I've been thinking about for a while and [the producers are] thinking about it too," she said.

The future of E!’s Fashion Police co-hosts remain uncertain for now, but Griffin seems like she would be a professional since she is familiar with cracking jokes about the biggest celebrities in Hollywood. At the event she was even practicing for her possible upcoming gig saying, "I'm ready to make some arrests tonight as a Fashion Police officer, so none of these people are safe," she joked. "They're all being nice, we're all kissing each other on the cheek, but they know that if I in fact become the sheriff of Fashion Police, none of them are safe and nor should they be."

Earlier this month, Griffin confirmed that she was offered the gig. She described the importance of having a variety of different personalities on the show saying, "Look at all these celebrities, they're gorgeous, they've got beautiful designer dresses. You need somebody to be that voice to say, 'Really?' And then you also need somebody to say, 'You look great.' So we'll see what happens."

Back in September, the beloved comedian Joan Rivers passed away unexpectedly from low blood oxygen during a routine medical procedure.
