Rapper Tyga went out of his way to make sure that underage Kylie Jenner would be able to celebrate his birthday with him after she was previously turned away from Greystone Manor in West Hollywood.
A source told E! News that Tyga, 25, was supposed to perform at Greystone Manor Sunday night, but he learned that Jenner would not be able to get in because she isn’t 21.
The “Hookah” rapper then allegedly made several calls to the club begging them to let Jenner, 17, inside. After the club wouldn’t budge, Tyga decided not to show up at the club at all, according to Celebuzz. He had previously pushed his entry time back to 1:30 a.m.
On his actual birthday, Nov. 18, Tyga planned a big celebration in Los Angeles at restaurant, Argyle. He chose a restaurant because he knew Jenner would be allowed access.
"Tyga really wanted Kylie at his party, he had gone out of his way in planning to make sure it was at a spot where she could get in," a source told E! News.
However, Jenner never showed up without any explanation.
"The Argyle is a restaurant, which is why he chose to have his party there because he knew she'd be allowed in. Everyone was expecting her. As it got later and later and she still hadn't shown up, everyone was a bit confused," The source added.
Although Tyga "seemed a bit annoyed," he didn’t let the no-show of Jenner affect his plans, E! News notes.
"Tyga was with an entire entourage and performed a few songs. It was a late night, party lasted right up until closing time, about 2 a.m." the source said.
