Former Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star "Mama" June Shannon is reportedly not receiving her entire salary from the un-aired season of the show, TMZ reported on Saturday.
Network TLC has decided that Shannon does not deserve full payment after allegations were made of her relationship with a convicted child molester, who reportedly molested her eldest daughter Anna Cardwell when she was 8 years old, as revealed by TMZ.
TMZ says that Shannon will earn significantly less than she has with previous seasons, however her children and ex-partner Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson will receive their salaries in full from the un-aired season.
TLC, which canceled the show due to the alleged relationship, is also providing the children counselors and tutors for help, as we reported.
The controversy surrounding Shannon and the convicted child molester Mark McDaniel generated with reports of the two of them pictured in bed together at a hotel, as we reported. Shannon made claims that the two were not dating, but recent photos of the two of them shopping for a house were reportedly taken by TMZ.
Mark McDaniel was sentenced to 10 years in prison for allegedly forcing Anna Cardwell to perform oral sex on him. Michael McDaniel, Mark McDaniel's son, has said that his father was wrongly convicted of the crime. Michael McDaniel has also stated that Shannon and his father are not dating, but was among the party that appeared in the recent photos captured by TMZ.
As of Sunday, Shannon has not commented on the matter.
