Diem Brown, the former star of MTV’s The Challenge and other spin-off shows, has passed away at the age of 32 after a long battle with cancer.
Over the summer, Brown was faced with battling cancer for a third time after beating it twice - in 2006 and again in 2012.
She was diagnosed with colon cancer, but this time it spread to her colon and stomach lining, Us Weekly reports.
On Tuesday, she took to Twitter to let her followers know her cancer had taken a severe turn. “I NEED PRAyErs and advice my doctors are seemingly giving up but I won't & can't rollover. Whatever option I have to LIVE I'm grabbing!” she wrote.
Brown has been open about her battle with cancer, even removing her wig during a challenge on The Duel, which made for a touching television moment.
Her rocky on-again, off-again relationship with Chris "CT" Tamburello was documented on the show.
Two weeks ago he posted an old photo of himself with her to Instagram writing, “The Definition of Grace Under Fire. An inspiration of strength, heart, and hope for so manypeople. The toughest woman I know.”
Last week he posted a #WCW photo of her, writing “Your smile can change the world.”
