The late Paul Walker’s father, Paul Walker III, remembered his son on the one-year anniversary of his tragic death at the age of 40.

The Fast & Furious star died on Nov. 30, 2013. He is survived by his daughter, Meadow.

Walker spoke to E! News from his home in California, saying, “I feel his presence every day. I miss talking to him a great deal. He had a good heart."

Walker also went on to describe his son, who “radiated love and you can't fake that.” He said the ocean was his “magical kingdom” and the “other was the racetrack.”

He went on to say that he preferred to be alone to mourn his son today, but plans on visiting his grave site at some point with other members of the family.

MTV News notes Walker died in a car crash when the car he was a passenger in hit a tree.

Walker has surely left his mark, founding the organization Reach Out Worldwide, which his brother Cody Walker, 26, is now CEO of.
