Robin Wright has reportedly called off her engagement to actor Ben Foster 10 months after he popped the question. The couple dated for two years before getting engaged this past December.
Wright was the one who called it off, with sources telling Us Weekly their schedules and 14-year age difference were to blame.
The House of Cards actress, 48, was busy filming House of Cards in Baltimore and spending weekends with her kids while Foster, 34, was filming A Streetcar Named Desire in London.
“The gap just ended up being too much," a source said of their age difference. "Ben was kind of immature. She couldn't deal with him anymore."
The insider added "She got swept up in the engagement last Christmas, but then their schedules got crazy and she realized it wasn't the right decision.”
Wright shares two kids with her ex-husband, Sean Penn; Dylan, 23, and Hopper Jack, 21.
Meanwhile, things are going great between Penn and his girlfriend, Charlize Theron.
