Investor, Daymond John talks of his disappointment after losing out to co-star, Robert Herjavec on the latest episode of ABC’s The Shark Tank. The Fight to sign a deal with ‘The Natural Grip’ was due to its predicted success as a fitness accessory.

In an interview with Business Insider John expresses his anger after failing to seal the deal.

Daymond, who is well known as a clothing connoisseur, grieves, “The deal was apparel-based, it was fitness-based, and Robert beat me out, so I'm sitting there saying to myself, 'Should I be mad at Robert or should I be mad at myself?'”

John also notes his lack of communication during the episode, explaining that he could have more effectively relayed his expertise to the contestant.
Business owner, Ashley Drake, an active duty captain in the Army Corp of Engineers from Louisville, entered the tank in hopes to receive a $100,000 investment in return for a 20% equity stake in her company, ‘The Natural Grip.’ The product’s hand wrapping design was advertised to protect weight trainer’s hands from being ripped up.
