Love Can Be a Very Dangerous Weapon
Ichabod and Katrina are watching a reality dating show and just enjoying a moment of peace together. Katrina is deeply sorry for lying and keeping secrets from Ichabod. It will take some time but Ichabod is going to try to trust her. Abbie arrives at the cabin and says they haven’t heard from Henry and she fears something is coming. Henry takes out a pot and opens it and takes out a beating heart. He starts chanting and summons a young girl. “We have much to do” he says as the young girl arrives to a nightclub. She seduces a young man on the dance floor and they go into his car to fool around. She transforms into something and drains the life from him. Abbie and Ichabod arrive at the scene with Ichabod still strongly behind the idea that the evil can be broken from Henry. The Horseman is furious that Katrina is no longer with her. The woman arrives and Henry shows the jar where he captured the lightning. She is capturing these people’s souls.
In the Archives they are trying to figure out what the creature is. Katrina says that the markings could help narrow the search for the creature. Abbie seems worried that Katrina is distracting Ichabod. The creature attacks a second victim, this time a young girl outside of a diner. Abbie meets with Nick at bar and asks him for his help. He is hesitant to help her again but has no idea what could have caused those marks. Ichabod and Abbie discover that the creature is a succubus. This is a creature that seduces its victims and feeds off their life force. They are drawn to secret desires. We see Nick at the bar when he is approached by the succubus. Katrina is looking at a map trying to track the succubus. She finds the location at the harbor just as Nick is arriving there with the succubus.
Ichabod and Abbie arrive at the harbor and find the succubus attacking Nick. Ichabod saves Nick and Abbie shoots her but she is able to escape. Ichabod explains to Nick what attracts the succubus and also learns that Nick might have feelings for Abbie. Katrina is having visions of Henry and realizes that she has the ability to see inside the house. Katrina concentrates and is able to see inside the house and see the succubus and Henry adding souls to the crib. They see inside the crib and see what the succubus’ true intentions are. The succubus is using the souls to nurture the creature…which is Moloch.
The news of Moloch being alive reveals Henry’s plan to use the succubus to finish bringing Moloch to life. Abbie and Katrina have different opinions of Henry and his true intentions. Ichabod breaks up the fighting saying that they need to stay united. They find out another name for the creature “The Incordata”, which also means “the heartless.” This creature feels no desire of its own so it hunts the desire of others and it has no heart. The only way to destroy the creature is to find their heart and destroy it. Katrina says the heart would be located at either a church or a cemetery.
Nick and Ichabod arrive at the club where the second victim was killed. Ichabod is curious of Nick’s intentions towards Abbie but Nick is not in a sharing mood. The succubus enters the club while at the same time Katrina and Abbie arrive at the cemetery. Katrina apologizes for her actions and Abbie says that even her love for Henry may not be enough to save him. In the club Nick and Ichabod find the succubus and Ichabod follows her into the storage room. She locks the door behind him. Abbie and Katrina find the heart and start to perform a spell to destroy the heart.
Nick comes into the storage room and finds the succubus trying to drain Ichabod. Abbie reads the spell while the succubus is attacking Nick and the heart catches fire. Ichabod throws a knife in her back and then shoots her, destroying the creature. Katrina tells Abbie she has a plan to destroy Moloch. She is going to break the evil in Henry by convincing The Horseman to take her back. She will then gain access to Moloch and destroy him. She trusts Abbie to tell Ichabod for her.
Ichabod is not happy with the plan but says it is a very bold plan. Abbie checks on Nick who is recovering from his injuries. She gives him a gift of what is left of the succubus’ heart. It seems there could be something between Abbie and Nick. We see Katrina arrive at the house and reunite with Henry and The Horseman. Henry asks The Horseman if Katrina is still wearing her necklace. We see Katrina look at Moloch while her necklace starts lighting up…
